What are the right connections?
Just because the cable has the specified connectors doesn’t mean it is right for the application. The correct wiring inside the connectors is vital. Do your codes require a plenum-rated cable? Do you want to color-code your patch cables for organizing areas of the building? Do you want 18-inch cables instead of 6-foot ones? Do purple patch cables with pink boots just match your office decor? Do you not have the tools or the time to wire up your own cables?
